Colors, surfaces, and shapes meet
like clouds — not to form stories, but to hold a quiet always changing presence. In the shift between painting and sculpture, a new world takes shape, where the hand does the thinking and the gaze gets to wander.
A monkey sings about the fire he cannot make — perhaps that’s what creation is: reaching for something beyond grasp.
More or less consciously, that’s what my job as an artist is all about: following the inner compass that points toward “this feels exciting,” regardless of how it looks or how it might be perceived. It’s about being sensitive and attentive when that compass trembles—learning to understand and respond to it.



A sudden urge to do something differently than I’ve done in similar situations before. That’s where the unique and personal resides, and that’s the place where I want my works to live.
